Cootharinga has approx 150 staff and is the largest North Queensland based charity. All money we raise is used only in North Queensland and therefore stays in North Queensland.
Babinda Bargain Centre
For over 40 years, the Babinda Bargain Centre has been raising funds for Cootharinga through its recycled clothing and furniture outlet. Staffed by over 40 volunteers, who pride themselves on the high quality of merchandise they offer the community and has over the years gained a reputation in the region as a place worth shopping for a bargain.
