Other Ways To Donate

Support Us

As a charity we rely heavily on the help and generosity of the people of North Queensland for us to be able to continue to provide our much needed services.

We know there are many people in the community who see the value of our work supporting children and adults living with disabilities and who would like to help us continue into the future. Ways you can help us do this are:

Regular Giving

You can donate cash to Cootharinga by the links throughout the website. You can also support us through our donation bins and fundraising events.

Workplace Giving

Successful businesses and their employees can make a difference to the lives of people living with disabilities. Imagine if everyone in your organisation donated $5 a week to charity. When you multiply that over a year you begin to see just how powerful workplace giving really is and how it makes such a big difference.

Supporting your charity is easy through workplace giving. Employees are able to donate a set amount each pay period and can receive instant tax benefits as a result. Your business benefits too, by achieving stronger branding recognition in the community and enhancing reputation while building unity, team spirit and morale amongst employees.

Plus it's just such a great feeling knowing you are giving back to the community you live and work in by helping people living with disabilities lead more fulfilling and joyful lives.

No donation is too small. Even donating an amount as little as the cost of a cup of coffee each week can still make a big difference!

LEAVE A BEQUEST

By having a will you can make sure that all you have worked for in your life is given to the people you love and the causes you care about.

Without the generosity of everyday people living in our North Queensland community, Cootharinga would find it very difficult to continue.

Whatever the amount, all bequests are invaluable to us and help Cootharinga continue into the future to provide vital services to children and adults with disabilities. Just like you, these people have needs, wants and dreams. By leaving a bequest you will help us to support them so they and their families have the opportunity for a brighter future and achieve the goals they have for their life.

Even though many people would like to help, it can be financially difficult to support a charity during a lifetime. After caring for loved ones, organising a bequest is a wonderful way of knowing you are able to make a positive difference to someone else’s life in our community, where you live.
