Charity Golf Day

Cootharinga's 11th Annual Charity Golf Day will be held on Friday 23 March 2012  at the Townsville Golf Club.  Commencing at 7.00am we will kick off with a BBQ breakfast, followed by a free sausage sizzle throught the event and ending with a presentation luncheon.   A bottle of Penfolds Grange will again be our lucky door prize which will be drawn at the luncheon.   You have to be there to win it!   The event is an 18 hole Ambrose with a shotgun start. Golfers will also enjoy competing for the novelty events...longest drive, bookies hole and putting competition.   The luncheon will conclude the day consisting of a  delicious seafood  buffet at 2.00pm.  The buffet will be catered by Barrier Reef TAFE's hospitality students  and teams will be presented with prizes..

Last year we had a full house with 36 Corporate  teams participating and the Cootharinga Cup going to Thomas Coffey!!!!  Which team will win the perpetual cup in 2012?

Cootharinga is seekig in kind donations of merchandise or vouchers to utilise as fantastic team prizes for the day.  We are also looking for major prizes for our Golf Day raffle which will be drawn on the day.  These may include outdoor settings; BBQs, bar fridges, accommodation packages, restaurant vouchers or golf bags.  However, any form or donation is greatly appreciated!
