Matt Kinnane
Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer of Cootharinga North Queensland, Matt Kinnane, has proudly lived, worked and served in North Queensland for over twenty years. Matt commenced his career with Sunmetals then worked for 15 years in the Finance industry with two of the big four financial institutions before moving to Cootharinga North Queensland.
The combination of Matt’s lived and learned experience with disabilities, strong background in financial management, business development and relationship building has positioned him to lead Cootharinga’s next stage of growth.
Matt is also keenly involved within the community and has volunteered over the years for a number of organisations including Ewan Amateur Turf Club, Apex Club of Townsville and Ryan Catholic College P & F Association.
Matt’s passion for inclusion and accessibility within our community for all individuals serves as his driving purpose behind his commitment to serve North Queensland.
Agatha Comis
Executive Officer
Agatha Comis has lived in Townsville for 28 years. Her experiences, along with a caring and supportive nature, have led her to a rewarding career with Cootharinga for the last 14 years, during which she has worked alongside the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
Agatha commenced her career working as a pharmacy assistant in Sydney until she was given the opportunity to join a company in the building sector as a sales assistant. With the help of some great mentors, she worked her way through different roles to gain the skills required to reach her chosen profession, also undertaking further training, such as Frontline Management, Emotional Intelligence, Project Management and Governance.
Born in Italy, where she grew up into her teens, Agatha likes to travel back and see her family when she has the opportunity.
