Uniquely located in parklands at Rasmussen, Townsville, Cootharinga's Accommodation and Respite Centre affectionately known as ARC, offers personalised care services for individual’s needs, choices and interests during your short term or medium term accommodation requirements.
Our experienced staff are committed to making you feel at home and providing you the opportunity to live the life you want whilst working towards your short-term and medium-term accommodation goals. During your stay at ARC you will have access to in-house specialists including complex behaviour support, Allied Health Services, Health Liaison Officer as well as access to fun and interesting activities and programs based on your individual goals and interest delivered in a supportive environment by our experienced staff.
Your health, wellbeing and happiness is a priority at ARC. We provide highly individualised support based on your own needs and preferences. With a flexible, customer centred, focus our team make your stay as comfortable and rewarding as possible.
NDIS Funding Options
Short-term Accommodation
Can be used for respite to support you and provide carers with a short break from their caring role
Medium-term Accommodation (up to three months)
For longer stays offering support if you need somewhere to live while waiting for your confirmed long-term housing solution.
Non-NDIS Customers
Short term contracts by negotiation
