Temporary price increase

In response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), effective 25 March 2020, the NDIA has temporarily increased price limits for some supports. These supports include:

  • Assistance with Daily Life (excluding Supported Independent Living)
  • Assistance with Social and Community Participation
  • Improved Health and Wellbeing (excluding personal training)
  • Improved Daily Living Skills

Cootharinga is implementing the new rates for all applicable supports from 28 March 2020.

Visit the Price Guide page on the NDIS website for more detailed information about this temporary increase to price limits.

Cootharinga North Queensland pricing structure is determined on the NDIS price guide which is set by the NDIA, ensuring that service providers are providing value for money to all participants throughout Australia.

We understand you want to get the most out of your NDIS package, and receive high quality services for the best price.

That’s why we align our pricing to the most up-to-date NDIS price guide. The NDIA reviews the NDIS price guide annually and sets prices that reflect wage inflation, market trends and ensure the NDIS remains sustainable.

This price guide reflects price increases in therapy, attendant care and community participation, as well as the introduction of the Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP).  The TTP was introduced to assist providers who meet specific criteria, including registration to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, to continue transforming their businesses in the move towards a more competitive marketplace, without compromising quality of service. Cootharinga North Queensland is eligible to charge the Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP).

The TTP enables eligible providers, including Cootharinga North Queensland, to charge a higher support price for attendant care and community and centre-based activities. Accordingly, as an organisation committed to transformation in the sector and quality in service delivery, Cootharinga North Queensland has applied TTP-included prices for applicable services to all clients. You can read about the TTP on the NDIS website.

In line with terms and conditions outlined in our customer Service Agreement, Cootharinga North Queensland will charge at the amount and rates set out by the NDIS or Fee for Service Pricing Guide.  The Cootharinga North Queensland price guide (updated 4th February 2020) is available below for download.
