Role: Administration Assistant
Location: Townsville
Full time (38hrs pw) Monday to Friday
Salary: $25.41ph + Super + Salary Sacrifice

For over 70 years Cootharinga has been part of our community, working alongside people with disabilities and their families. Cootharinga North Queensland provides supports and services to a large variety of clients throughout North Queensland. 
 
This role will be based in our Office in Townsville, and will also provide administration support for both CPL and Cootharinga services and teams as both organisations have merged and we operate out of the same locations.   
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clerical, administrative, receptionist and/or secretarial services as appropriate to ensure optimum support to the business area/service
  • Answering phones and being the face of Cootharinga and CPL Townsville
  • Deliver professional customer service which positions the organisation positively and favourably with all who come into contact, in a timely manner
  • Maintain effective relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes are achieved
  • When required undertakes routine office activities which may include mailing, filing, banking, tracking of accounts, invoices, orders, and maintenance of basic records in accordance with Cootharinga policies and procedures
  • Actively participates in induction, training and regular team meetings as directed
  • Undertakes other responsibilities as required and directed by the Supervisor or Manager
 
Requirements:
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a financial administrative role is preferred but not essential
